Artist Statement
Macarena Bernava is an Argentinian actor, producer, AD, writer, and improviser currently based in New York City. She has studied at the Barrow Group and UCB, as well as the BCC, Improv Boston, Second City, and more. Most recently, she performed in an Actor’s Showcase at the Barrow Group, starred in the short film “Perfect Timing”, directed by Emmanuel Owolabi, and Assistant Directed the web series, "@MaggieThinksThat". When she isn’t performing or studying, Macarena can be found on sets all around the city working in production and gaining hands on knowledge.
